A large visible light output is particularly important, because birds react very sensitively to a lack of light. Bright Sun Bird is ideal lighting for normal breeding and almost a necessity for birds in quarantine or weakened or sick individuals.

The basis for the enormous light output of these lamps is their energy-saving. Most of the energy is converted into light, compared to any other sources, where 95% of the energy is converted into heat. The relatively low heating value (compared to e.g. discharge lamps) allows Bright Sun Bird to be used even in smaller cages. The effective design of the reflector ensures that most of the heat accumulates inside, the product is therefore suitable for creating local sunny spots.

The light spectrum has been optimized for use in bird breeding.

The average life of the product is 6000 hours, however we recommend changing the lamps after one year of use to always provide the best for the birds. The spectrum can change after a long period of use. This is typical of Halide technology and the spectrum change also depends on the type of ballast used.

Bright Sun needs a ballast to operate. We recommend connection via a Bright Control PRO or Bright Control EVO ballast, other connections cannot be guaranteed by the manufacturer.

Ideal connection using "plug and play" connectors: Bright Sun Bird + Bright Control PRO + Thermo Socket PRO. With this connection, you just snap the connectors together and you can start using the system immediately, no connection of electrical cables is necessary. wiring.

TIP: if you want to have the Bright Sun lamp located in the reflector (cover), choose a socket set with reflector and "plug and play" system instead of Thermo Socket PRO.

Warning: Bright Sun lamps can also be screwed into an ordinary ceramic socket, but such a connection requires some experience with connecting cables. However, a ballast is always required for operation.
